Open stable space with pastures Self-catering gelding from February 2025 - We have one of five places available in an open stable in Eltville for a self-caterer from February 2025.
There is a mud-poor open stable with paddock slabs sprinkled with sand, a mobile box and a grazing tent. - a mobile box and a pasture tent, - several IBC tanks, - two water tanks and a drinking trough that can be heated in winter and - two lockable tack and feed rooms. - In winter, the horses receive high-quality organic hay 24/7 from (a total of two) racks with netting.
In summer, the horses stand day and night on the (total of 2 hectares) pastures with shelter/trees, which are a 5-minute walk from the paddock. (Some of the photos are a little outdated; our pastures are fenced in with a wooden fence for safety reasons).
There is a square, flat area of earth measuring approx. 20m×20m. Unfortunately, this can only be used depending on the weather.
It is also possible to register your horse as a guest horse at the Armada farm in Frauenstein for a user fee. The farm is about 10 minutes away from us by trailer. There is a hall, an arena and a round pen.
Water supply and manure disposal are provided. Your tasks as a self-caterer with us would be - mucking out the stall for your horse, - fill the water in the vats together with us, - (in winter) push a bale of hay into the hayracks with us every few days and - help with communal work assignments as a stable community.
Wonderful opportunities for riding out into the vineyards directly from the stable and into the nearby forest as well as to the Rhine. The stable is very easy to reach by public transport and is located on the outskirts of Eltville.
The horses there are 1.36m to 1.58m tall, 4 to 13 years old and it is a very loving herd.
No mares!
We are a small stable community and are looking for a friendly and helpful team. The gelding must be compatible with the herd and be unshod behind.
Please contact us if you have any questions or are interested. We look forward to hearing from you.
