Huzule gelding - Unfortunately I have to part with my 12 year old huzul gelding. He lives with us in an open stable but unfortunately this is not for him at all. Before me he was in a riding school with a box, where he was absolutely well-behaved. I was also able to take him out for walks on his own for the first few weeks when he was with me. But the more comfortable he felt in the herd, the more difficult he became to handle. You can really see how it stresses him out when he has to leave the herd (herd leader) and he shows this at the moment by running off and panicking when I want to go off on my own with him, I am sure that if you change his attitude he will no longer show this behavior. He was also a therapy horse for a few years. He is well-behaved when grooming and riding in the arena. He has a good training and I could imagine him in a well-run riding school again. He is English ridden, I have a suitable western saddle for him which can be purchased for an additional charge. Age: 12 years, stockmas approx. 1.45, covers very well...
