Lilly is an honest Haflinger mare. She has already had a couple of foals and is still raw due to this.
She can be lunged well and is used to both saddle and snaffle, but would need some firming up.
She has very nice gaits and is relatively hard working.
She is a bit insecure, but always sweet and never headless.
With a little preparation, there should be nothing in the way of breaking her in.
In the herd, she is rather low ranking, but does not let anyone take the butter from her.
So if you are looking for a mare that is fresh, pretty and willing to learn, you could hit the jackpot here.
She knows dogs, children, chickens.... tractors. road traffic. She walks confidently, she just needs a safe, steady hand to lead her.
She is really a lovely mare and could certainly become a great riding horse if the time is there. Unfortunately, I don't have the time and I can't do her justice.
Here she is in an open stable, but she also feels comfortable in a box.
