Functional anatomy in the riding horse - biomechanics in motion 23.09.23 - Biomechanics in motion 23.09.23 Theory and practice can be booked separately. Venue Barockreitzentrum Heimsheim.
In the theoretical part we deal with the functional relationships in the musculoskeletal system of our riding horses. How do bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fasciae interact so that horses can move athletically and healthily.
What is the difference between a horse and a riding horse ?
We discuss, among other things, which interrelated functions should be given for a healthy training.
- When does training begin? - What is the difference between exercise and training ? - Does every horse have the same conditions ?
In the framework of the training scale we discuss which abilities a riding horse needs to develop in order to be able to move in a functionally stable and balanced way. Which muscle chains should a horse work with in order to be able to tense and spring. We will also discuss the different types of connective tissue and muscles in relation to training design and suitability.
