The characteristic properties of this metal are: Lightness, resistance, biocompatibility, non-magnetization and low thermal conductivity. Titanium is the only one among the 11,000 alloyed and unalloyed metals known so far that is completely biocompatible for animal organisms.

Properties:

Titanium is naturally covered by a layer of dioxide that can destroy many bacteria (staphylococci, as well as streptococci, Bacillus anthracis, Legionella, and many others), as well as pollutants dispersed in the atmosphere (nitrogen dioxide, benzene, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, and some particular particulate matter).
