Simply combine the temperature control with your hay steamer to steam the hay easily and conveniently. This allows you to spend more time with your horse. With the EVO control, you have a reliable and efficient solution for healthy feeding of your horse.
Only the Steam Control EVO controller can help you use less energy. It has four different settings.
The EVO control has many advantages. Thanks to the integrated timer, you can program the EVO so that it has already steamed the hay when you arrive at the stable. This gives you valuable time to look after your horse more intensively. The precise temperature control offers you four different levels (70 °C, 75 °C, 85 °C, 95 °C), making it possible to set the optimum temperature for your horse. At the touch of a button, you can save energy when steaming with the Steam Control EVO control.
The EVO control automatically regulates the temperature to save energy and prevent overheating. Once the desired temperature has been reached, the control keeps it stable for 20 minutes. You can see the temperature and the remaining time on the display at any time.
The automatic switch-off function is one of the EVO's outstanding features. As soon as the hay is fully steamed, the control automatically switches off the hay steamer to save energy. The EVO control unit remains in operation and shows you the temperature inside the hay steamer.
Another highlight of the Steam Control Evo is its fault detection, which ensures that the device works safely and reliably. The control system ensures that the hay steamer is automatically switched off after a certain time if the set temperature is not reached. A possible cause of this could be that there is not enough water in the steam generator or the plug has not been plugged in correctly.
Update, for the EVO Our EVO has also received a small software update. After steaming your hay, it flashes a signal as soon as your hay is ready. But be careful: the container is hot! That's why the EVO clearly warns you not to open the lid without protection. The flashing stops at 65 degrees.
The installation options for the temperature control.
For test purposes, you can place the sensor of our temperature control unit loosely in the hay for a short time. You should then proceed according to the operating instructions.
If you have a thermometer installed in your hay steamer, you can remove it if necessary and install the sensor instead of the thermometer.
You have the option of either placing the control unit directly on the lid or mounting it on the side/lid. You can choose between a bracket or feet, depending on whether you want to install the control unit or prefer to stand it upright.
Drill a small hole in your hay steamer for your desired location and install the sensor using the PG screw fitting supplied by us.
Once the sensor has been installed, the point is sealed and no steam escapes.
You can connect a steam generator with a maximum output of 3500W.
