Great gelding for the ambitious leisure rider - For sale is the 8 year old QH gelding Rugged Collin, born on 10.05.2015.
His sire Aladino Lark was a very rideable expressive stallion with beautiful soft gaits. His grandfather Rugged Lark was the "Ambassador of AQHA" and one of the most versatile Quarter Horse ever.
Collin comes from the beautiful breeding of Marion Müller from Tuscany. There he was allowed to enjoy his life on the paddock until June 2018 and then came completely raw to me in Germany.
Collin has a very sensitive & people-oriented character and needs a caregiver who is calm, sensitive and not hectic and radiates security & trust. Collin has a solid basic training (no reining). He is ridden recreationally (riding lessons & courses) and goes off-road alone and in groups, he is also used to dogs when out riding.
Currently Collin is in a large paddock stall, in the paddock he is in a large gelding herd and shows himself inconspicuously there.
Like every horse, Collin has many good qualities such as willingness to learn, quick perception, good cooperation when riding, cuddly etc. but also not "so good".
Collin is sometimes jumpy and makes a leap to the left / right and therefore Collin needs an experienced person who gives him security in such situations. But even after a short shock Collin is totally relaxed again within a very short time and you can continue riding / doing as if nothing had happened.
I would like to find a loving home for Collin, where he is not a piece of sports equipment but a member of the family. It is not a distress sale and I give Collin only in the best hands.
