Arabian mix filly - Arabian mix filly yearling Ronya looking for home 50% Arabian(25% Thoroughbred Arabian, 25% Shagya Arabian)
She is bright, curious, brave, learns quickly, loves people and tasks and will surely be the perfect riding horse one day. She carries her tail on top like an Arabian, has the beautiful gaits, but is a bit stronger and more robustly built and also a tad more laid back with less drama. She is very people oriented and you can walk with her alone without any problems, even on busy roads, motorcycles, bicycles, dogs etc. she knows everything. She also loves children very much, because of my 4 year old niece.
Many videos and photos of her you can find on instagram @stellaronya
She will be a grey and according to gypsy measurements she should be about 150 cm tall.
The father is a Greek mix. Possibly she will be 4 or 5 gaited, but I don't know exactly. It is said that the foals take up to 100% of the character of the mare, you can see that clearly. The mare is extremely sensitive, smart, wants to please, learns very fast, has wonderful gaits, carries her tail elegantly on top, has a tireless endurance, but untypically she is very calm and composed in all situations. She is not frightened by anything and generally stops first instead of running off when a situation is monstrous to her. A quality that I appreciate very much in her.... Since we have often taken Ronya out in the field since she was a foal, she has learned a lot of composure from her mother. Unfortunately I don't have time for a foal, I bought the mare in foal and knew that I can't keep the foal.
Generally she has the whole foal ABC through, except for trailer, because we don't have it. She is so curious and jealous when mama is cleaned and saddled that I have even half taught her to saddle and snaffle. By just growing up with lots of love and attention from lots of people, she has an absolute trust in us bipeds, even though she has a strong personality. I think the breaking in will be very easy and she will be a really great riding horse. I think cross-country and versatile, maybe jumping, western, I can imagine something like that. But of course everything is open.
We live in Greece, but since I primarily want a home for the sensitive mare, where someone really wants a horse as a partner, she is cheap (at the same price as I have her for sale on the island here in Greece) to give. You would have to take care of the transport and everything else. The transport would cost about 3000 euros from an agency, or you just pick her up yourself.
I think a visit or transport etc. can be combined well with a short vacation on our beautiful island. Even if you come here and decide against it in the end (I can not imagine) but even then there are plenty of other horses on the island for sale 😅
